  • Review work prepared by team members and offer constructive feedback to uphold professional standards
  • Monitor engagement timelines and ensure alignment with Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS)

  • Communicate results and recommendations in a way that builds understanding and trust

Client Relationship Development

  • Maintain strong communication with clients to understand their operations, challenges, and goals

  • Help not-for-profit organizations make the most of their resources so they can maximize their impact in the communities they serve

Coaching and Mentorship

  • Guide junior team members through ongoing coaching and contribute to their technical and professional development
  • Promote a collaborative, learning-focused environment within the team

Continuous Learning and Innovation

  • Stay current with Canadian accounting and auditing standards, particularly those relevant to not-for-profit and public sector entities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and firm best practices.

A Day in the Life

On a typical day, you might plan for an upcoming audit, review audit sections prepared by junior team members, meet with a client to discuss audit requests and engagement progress, and wrap up by mentoring a team member preparing for their next professional milestone.
