We are currently seeking a full-time, temporary Administrative Assistant (Maternity Leave Coverage) to join our team in Taber.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcomes visitors, answers their questions, guides them to meeting rooms, and connects them with the right team members.
  • Ensures smooth daily operations by managing administrative tasks, including mail distribution and courier requests.
  • Maintains a well-organized and compliant filing system for documents and reports, utilizing proficiency in MS Office Suite for creation and editing.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients and the community.
  • Helps plan meetings and events by arranging catering, booking locations, and keeping everyone informed.
  • Maintains a well-stocked office by ordering supplies as needed.

Competencies

  • High school diploma required.
  • Diploma or certificate in an office administration program a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative role or equivalent technical experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and adapt to changing demands.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Composure and effective problem-solving skills to handle challenging situations calmly.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to develop and maintain positive connections with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in creating, editing, proofreading, and formatting documents and presentations using MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
