We are currently seeking a motivated Accounting Co-op Student to join our team in Lethbridge.

Today, more than 150 team members serve six communities including Invermere, BC, and we are ready to welcome our next co-op student in Lethbridge.

Start Dates: January, May, or September 2026 (4 or 8 month terms)

As part of your co-op experience at Avail CPA, you will

• Work one-on-one with a dedicated coach who will guide your professional growth and career development
• Build skills by assisting with compilation and review engagements for a variety of businesses and not-for-profit organizations
• Gain experience preparing T1 personal, T2 corporate, and a variety of other tax returns
• Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver quality service and strengthen relationships
• Take part in training sessions and access resources that will support your academic goals and CPA journey

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a candidate who:

• Is currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a concentration in accounting
• Is committed to earning a Canadian CPA designation and completing the required prerequisite courses
• Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills to build strong relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders
• Demonstrates exceptional time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Takes a proactive approach to professional development with a strong desire to learn and grow
• Has a passion for delivering excellent client service
